US airforce helicopter crashed in Irag, killing all 7 servicemen aboard on Thursday.

U.S. Air Force HH-60G Pave Hawk combat search and rescue helicopter, reported to have hit an electricity pole and crashed near the city of Al Qaim in Iraq’s Anbar Governorate.

Army Brig. Gen.P.Braga, the director of operations leading the fight against ISIS in the region, said all personnel aboard the HH-60 Pave Hawk helicopter were killed.

There are approximately 5,262 U.S.servicemen stationed in Iraq, and this is the first fatal helicopter crash in Iraq since the U.S. began fighting ISIS there in 2014.

This accident occurred, just a day after 2 Navy aviators died in a F/A-18 jet crash off Key West, Florida.
