An Indian Air Force (IAF) MiG-27 plane crashed and burst into flames this morning, during a routine sortie near Jodhpur, in northwest Indian state of Rajasthan.
The pilot ejected minutes before the crash and parachuted safely onto the field.
This is the third accident involving its ageing MiG-27 fleet in the past year.
