Capital Airlines Airbus A320-214 flight JD5759, nose wheel bogey broke away and the parts hit the engine on an attempted hard landing at Macau Airport on 28 August 2018.

The flight #JD5759 with 157 passengers and 9 crew from Beijing encountering wind shear while landing and broke its nose gear bogey. The parts of the nose gear tires hit the engine and damaged it severely. The aircraft did a go around and was diverted to Shenzhen Airport, China where it landed safely.
All passengers were evacuated via emergency slides.
No injuries reported.
