Xiamen Airlines B737-800 was damaged after it overran the runway on landing at Manila International Airport, Philippines.
The flight MF 8667 from Xiamen with 157 passengers and 8 crew, apparently landed after a period of holding and a missed approach due to heavy rain at 23:55 local time in Manila airport on Thursday.
The aircraft rested on its belly with its port engine detached.
All passengers were evacuated via emergency slide and reported safe.
The runway was closed till 12 noon and some flights were affected.
