Two Pakistan International Airlines Aircraft damaged by moving ground equipment during the severe thunderstorm at Lahore Airport on 4 June 2018. A strong wind swept through the airport blowing around a stair truck and an ambulift, which hit and damaged the parked Airbus A320 and ATR72-500 aircraft.
PIA A320 flight PK654 was ready to fly to Islamabad at Lahore airport while ATR72 flight PK244 from Damam to Sialkot — was diverted to Lahore airport due to thunderstorm.
