Water bowser damages Sri Lankan Airlines A320

SriLankan Airbus A320 Reg 4R-ABM was damaged after it was hit by a water bowser at Colombo-Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB, VCBI) on 27 May 2018.

According to airport officials, the A320 had arrived from Lahore, Pakistan, parked and scheduled for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia., The bowser, which brought water to the plane accidentally crashed with the plane.

The damage would cost the airline an estimated Rs.15 million (US$9500), airport official said.

SriLankan Airlines said, is investigating the incident and temporally suspended the bowser driver.
