Lion Air Boeing 737’s wheel stuck on the runway at Surabaya Juanda International Airport in Indonesian on Sunday 20 May at 10.28 a.m local time. The Boeing 737, flight #JT922 scheduled for Denpasar struck on the sunken runway asphalt , while it is getting ready for takeoff.

The incident caused delays for many flights for around 2 hours and many flights were diverted to Bali and DPS airport.

The aircraft was towed back to apron and the airport was re-opened for flights at 12.30 p.m.
