Flock of birds strike on an Air Europa Boeing 737-800 and damages the radome and engine inlet. The flight UX-1040 from Rome Fiumicino (Italy) to Madrid,SP (Spain), was on a final approach to Madrid’s runway 18L when the aircraft suffered multiple impacts by birds.
The aircraft continued for a safe landing. The aircraft is still on the ground in Madrid about 28 hours after landing.
